The Central Studio Personal Fitness Coach Program

For those of us who feel they need just a little encouragement to keep up with fitness routines, try the Fitness Coach program.  Weekly contact and feedback will help keep your exercise plan on track.  As a personal trainer I encounter many people who have just needed a little incentive to keep up with their workouts. Many times if people feel “accountable” to someone else, they have been more determined to stay with their exercise routine. The goal of this program is to help you become a regular exerciser. Whether you exercise at home, in a gym or studio, or are not currently engaged in exercise, this program can help you get started and stay motivated!

My background in fitness began as a high school athlete, I began working out to get stronger for playing sports. I majored in Health and Fitness at Keene State College, where I graduated with a BS in Physical Education. I began working as a personal trainer while at KSC in 1996, and since then I have continued personal training while also working at Greenfield Community College and then the Keene Family YMCA as the Fitness Director. I currently own Central Studio, where I teach Pilates mat classes, Pilates reformer lessons and personal training. I have worked with a variety of people of all ages and fitness levels. I love to help people obtain their fitness goals, whether they are just beginning an exercise program or have been exercising a long time.

As your Personal Fitness Coach, I will meet with you in an initial consultation to discuss your fitness goals, current workouts, injuries and/or limitations and then we will determine an appropriate fitness routine for you and which level of the program is needed for you to reach your goals. The key to a successful exercise program is consistency. Together we will determine how to incorporate fitness into your lifestyle.

You will receive an exercise log that you will fill out weekly and return to me by e-mail or fax, for me to review then I will contact you with any suggestions for changes in your workout if needed. If either of us feel the need to meet personally, we can set up an appointment, otherwise we would have weekly contact through e-mail or phone, whichever is more convenient. I am here to support you in your trek to total fitness. Enjoy the journey!

Initial consultation

We will meet to discuss fitness goals, current workouts, injuries and/or limitations and then we will determine an appropriate fitness routine for you and which program level is needed for you to reach your goals.

Personal Training

We will meet 1-on-1 at Central Studio, your home or your workout facility (if they allow outside trainers) and complete a workout together. This is an opportunity for me to introduce you to new exercises, check your form of each exercise, and change or modify any exercises as needed. Appointments are 1 hour.

Program Levels

If personal training is done at your workout facility, please note the fee may increase based on the fee for me as an outside trainer.

  • Level 1: Monthly Fee $20

    • Initial consultation to review workout plan and set goals.
    • Weekly e-mail contact regarding workouts and progression.
  • Level 2: Monthly Fee $40

    • Initial consultation to review workout plan and set goals.
    • Initial personal training session to set workout program.
    • Weekly e-mail contact regarding workouts and progression.
    • Monthly Personal Training appointment to review and change workout.
  • Level 3: Monthly Fee $75

    • Initial consultation to review workout plan and set goals.
    • Initial personal training session to set workout program.
    • Weekly e-mail contact regarding workouts and progression.
    • Biweekly Personal Training appointment to review and change workout.
  • Level 4: Monthly Fee $120

    • Initial consultation to review workout plan and set goals.
    • Initial personal training session to set workout program.
    • Weekly e-mail contact regarding workouts and progression.
    • Weekly Personal Training appointment.
