"You're only as healthy as your spine." Joseph Pilates

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that builds flexibility, strength, and endurance without adding bulk. Exercises are performed on a mat or equipment such as a Reformer. The exercises are designed to create length in the muscles and at the same time develop strength. Pilates helps balance and align the body, improve posture, increase pelvic and shoulder stability, and develop coordination through patterned movements and breathing. Pilates combines mental development along with the physical, by focusing on concentration, precision, control, breathing, and flowing movements.

Everyone can benefit from Pilates, from beginner to elite athletes and all of us in between. Pilates develops core strength that can help us in everyday life from hitting a golf ball further to running and cycling!
